Jack Jarvis

I am very happily married to my soul mate Marie Jarvis.  She is the one person that can keep everything together when the workload gets heavy!  I have two wonderful children, Rebecca who is 18 and a freshman in college and Jackson who is 14 and a freshman in high school.

I joined the fire service in Wilmington, NC 1996 shortly after college at The Citadel in Charleston, SC.  I started as a volunteer before deciding it would be great to get paid for being up at 2 am!  I was hired by the Wilmington Fire Department in 1998 where I am currently a Captain on Truck 8.

I joined the Red Knights by being one of the four original founders of NC 6 back in September of 2003.  In 2006 I started making contacts around the state and founded the NC State Association where I served as President until I was elected as the Southern Director (Region 4 Director now) in 2008.  I served in that capacity until I was elected as the International Vice President in 2013.  I was just recently elected by the membership as the new International Secretary in Wisconsin and I am truly enjoying the new experiences.

I have enjoyed meeting the Red Knight family from all over the world in person, by phone, by email, or even by snail mail.  It has been a pleasure to serve all of you and I look forward to many more years of service to help improve our great family even more.

Loyal to Our Duty
